'University of Capetown'.. The quarry where Nelson Mandela and other inmates worked throughout the year, moving slabs of stone. The guards used to ask them to move the slabs to each of the four corners of the quarry, point a to d, then back to point a again.. to break their spirit. Inside the hole (a couple of meters long) the prisoners had to eat and relieve themselves. They also taught each other university subjects in secret out of the watch of the guards.
